Course Description

This course describes the fundamental and applied principles of the main types of intervention techniques in oilfield operations. Well intervention operations such as bullheading, slickline, electric line, coiled tubing, hydraulic workover units, and workover rigs are presented. The main operational procedure associated with circulating, rotating, pushing/pulling, and entering a ‘live’ well and relative costs of each type of method will be discussed .
