Course Description
This course provides fundamental knowledge and practical skills required of field petroleum production engineers. The course starts with essentials of well completion techniques and the various strategies for achieving desired solutions. It then provides practical know-how on subsurface and surface production techniques including radial and bilinear inflow behaviour, productivity performance, flow assurance, surveillance, digital wireless data-driven diagnostics, artificial lift, production chemistry, and optimisation strategies. Through a combination of hands-on exercises, and production data analysis, participants will learn how to conduct production performance debottlenecking, performance and productivity evaluation, and asset asset optimisation.
