Course Description
Integrated reservoir modelling provides asset owners the opportunity characterise and understand the degree of uncertainties in reservoir and well behaviour. It is used to make predictions in brown or green field development planning, reservoir surveillance and production optimisation.
This course explicitly covers those aspects of a study in which the business context has a strong or dominating influence e.g. framing of the project, model design, economic screening and the selection of preferred development scenarios.
What You’ll Learn From This Course
- Framing and structuring the project to align with and optimise business opportunities
- Data analysis, validity, and limitations
- Techniques for developing an integrated reservoir modelling (IRM)
- Risks and uncertainties analysis
- Model validation on reservoir model datasets
- Evaluation of the business opportunities and associated risks using the initial representative models
- Developing detailed reservoir models to be used for making business opportunity decisions
