This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of special core analysis (SCAL) and how static and dynamic reservoir data can be obtained from core samples. The influence of the core preservation techniques and the coring operations adopted, on the accuracy of the results will also be discussed. Laboratory measurement methods and the identification of invalid data are highlighted. Candidates are encouraged to come with their own data.
